The Gym, The Hole, The Hole Powerlifting Team has finally evolved into Skiba’s Competition Barbell Club. We’re made up of lifters from 13 to 75 years old. every person contributing in their own way. The Gym is a tribute to my Father who put up with all my craziness over the years and always supported me in every endeavor -- including a commercial gym, aka Powerhouse Gym Rahway which was nothing short of being the last stalwart hardcore commercial gym in NJ. Now all the commercial gyms make me sick and I refuse to support these habitats for the gloved, mirror gazing barbell prince and princesses of NJ. Come and take a Journey to the past when lifting meant something, and members of the Iron Brotherhood helped other lifters rather than follow in the footsteps of Arnold and his misguided antics (similar to today’s football players and other pre-madonna athletes).
